Jace and Ashley’s rural Maine wedding invitation was all about the fine details and made this custom design something to discover. Upon opening, the couple gave an amusing nod to their Texas roots by including a Maine map envelope liner with ‘Welcome to Maine, y’all’ sprawled across the flap. Inside, a blush pink vellum wrap added color and kept the various cards together. The three main cards were printed on double-thick felt paper with edges thick enough to be painted in a shimmering metallic gold. On the info card, crossed arrows became a recurring symbol and were a gesture to the serendipitous travel-crossed path of when they first met. On the map card, a subdued pink watercolor wash colored the map of the Maine coastline. A mini card was also slipped inside and included information for welcome cocktails.
