A beautiful mix of materials made up Kara and Daniel’s wedding invitation suite. The venue, Villa Aurelia in Rome, was picture perfect as is and was painted in watercolors on the oversized invitation card. A bit of formality was given with metallic gold foil and double-thick cotton paper. The back of the invitation card was covered in olive green velvet as a bit of a surprise when it was held. The response card was cut into an oval and a Roman statue was painted on the side. A thick website tag hung from the embroidery thread that tied the suite together. A vintage engraving of Trevi Fountain was cut for the envelope’s liner, and coordinating Old World themed vintage postage completed the package.
