Nadia and Robert put a modern interpretation on the classic Art Deco style for their Brooklyn wedding invitation. The Trylon and Perisphere were two modernistic structures at the center of the New York World’s Fair of 1939 and were blind letterpressed into the invitation. The reverberating lines were then carried throughout the piece. A witty side note on the front referenced the back of the invitation—lyrics to Fred Astaire’s “Top Hat, White Tie and Tails”—and a simple letterpressed card directed guests to their wedding website for simple RSVPing.
