I’m excited to introduce an ever-so-helpful Shop feature added this week! We’ve added Pantone® color swatch number matches to most of the envelope and envelope liner products in the Shop. Colors on screens can vary and some are even hard to produce on a screen, so this added feature will help ensure that the product you receive will meet your expectations. It’s also perfect if you’re trying to coordinate your printed ink color to an envelope or liner. Enjoy!
The studio is picking up momentum again as we enter the new year! I’m already working on some fresh ideas for the store and of course for custom design clients as well! Take a peek at the new Theroux return address stamp and keep checking for new items throughout the year!
Thank you to everyone who supported Anticipate this year! It’s been nothing short of amazing and we truly look forward to everything that 2015 has in store (some great things are already in the works!). We hope you enjoy this sacred time of year with those you love most and savor the brief respite from a busy year. Cheers!
As 2014 draws to a close, we start looking for new wall calendar art to adorn our studio walls. But, who says you have to go new for the new year? Did you know the following vintage calendar years will also have Thursday as January 1st? 1903, 1914, 1925, 1931, 1942, 1953, 1959, 1970, 1981, 1987, 1998, 2009. They also make a great gift!
This blog post is brought to you by my son, Westin, who loves to pop into my studio unannounced! I’m so blessed to make Anticipate a family business and thank you all for your continued support (Westin says ‘thanks’ too)!
We love getting a peek of the actual weddings we get to design for, and Alison and Kyle’s classic wedding is no exception. Their invitation was timeless; set in traditional typefaces and then gold foiled on luxurious cotton paper. To further reflect the elegant Drumore Estate, and in particular the gardens, we incorporated some of the beautiful green ivy found on the property for their day-of stationery. This included programs, table numbers, name cards held in birch tree stumps, a weekend events card, and guest box labels. Thank you Wiebners for the gorgeous photography!
We’re busy prepping swag for the Delaware Center for Contemporary Arts (DCCA) Bridal Show! Come visit our booth this Sunday, October 5th 2014, from 12–3pm. Mention this blog post and receive 10% off your stationery design.
Putting the final touches on these miniature postcard-style escort cards today. It’s been such a pleasure working with Jen, the bride, on her day-of stationery! We can tell how much she cares about her guests having a great time and is crafting a most-memorable experience for them. The details she has thought of is surely to leave a lasting impression on them. These little cards will be part of a much larger display that we are excited to see come together. Each postcard represents a city that Jen and Chris have traveled to and directs guests to a coordinating table. The... Read more
We are so privileged to work with wonderful people all over the country (and even the world). While we rarely get to attend the weddings we design stationery for, we always enjoy a virtual visit afterwards through the beautiful photographs. It’s such a treat to see how the couple’s planning paid off and how everything was visually brought together. Because the invitation is the first glimpse into a wedding for a guest, it’s an extra honor to sit down with our clients at the start and kick-start the design process for what’s to come.
Today we were treated to Lisa... Read more
