The city of Chicago is the literal star of Marisa and Todd’s wedding suite, which was held in a restored Chicago firehouse. The invitation was laser-engraved into a 1/16”-thick walnut wood slab. The modern typography is set into the outline of Chicago, while the word Chicago is highlighted with gold paint. A website points guests to additional information and keeps the suite clean and neat. Gold-foiled stars pulled from Chicago’s flag grace the RSVP card and bring in their wedding colors of coral pink and olive green. The invitation envelopes were also lined in coral pink and addressed in a similar, modern typographic style.
