When you get married in a palace in Portugal, the invitation has to reflect all of its refined and exquisite details. An envelope lined with silk fabric contained an outer folder with an embossed design of the couple's crest. By pulling on the champagne tassel, the suite's stacked cards were revealed. The invitation was letterpressed and had its edges painted in champagne. A custom illustrated map of Portugal highlighted the various sights and was backed with weekend events. A separate card for high tea was also included.
