When your historic hotel venue has a mounted white buffalo head, you give it center stage and have fun with it! The Gage Hotel near Marfa, Texas, served as the rustic-meets-elegant backdrop of Hanna and Cameron’s wedding invitation. The buffalo head was blind letterpressed into the invitation, along with a thin border and shadow behind the couple’s names. Metallic gold foil highlighted the horn, second border, and invitation text. A details card with watercolors of a western Texas sunset included an abbreviated map as well as weekend events and details. Not to be outdone, the response card was cut into a buffalo’s full silhouette and the whole package was tied in burgundy twine. The dusty rose envelopes were lined, calligraphed in white ink, and finished with western-themed vintage postage stamps.
