The Detroit Athletic Club was watercolored for Sarah and Eric's Save the Date card and the text was printed in gold foil. The edges were then bevel-cut and painted in metallic gold. The ensuing invitation suite pulled patterns and graphics from the club's interior by means of a subtly printed deboss around of the cards. A custom monogram was created that also echoed the venue's architecture.
